Condolence: Dear Raymond and family, so sorry about your sudden loss of Your brother, Rick. There really are no words to make things "better", just bearable. I pray you can relish in all the kind words and memories of all those whom Rick touched in his lifetime. He was very special. Blessings and peace to you.

Condolence: Rick enjoyed and appreciated his family, his friends, his students and life in general. Together, while riding our exercise bikes at the gym, we discussed everything from pinochle to politics. Rick was about to join our family card club, but never made it. Somehow I think there's a new card game going on in Heaven. God bless you, Rick. You will be sorely missed.

Condolence: I was fortunate to meet Rick 47 years ago at Maple East when he introduced me to my world of teaching. The last time I saw him, I'm glad that I told him exactly how much his leadership, guidance, and friendship helped to shape my future as a teacher. While expressing my gratitude, he wiped a tear from his eye. Let me share part of a note that he wrote to me a few days later.
"I want to say Thank You for your kind words. They really moved me deeply. You don't hear something like that often and don't realize the long term effect you have on someone. We had great times, worked hard, learned from each other and grew together. I wouldn't change that experience for anything."
Rick was a special friend and mentor to so many. He will be missed greatly.
My prayers and condolences to his family.

Condolence: Rich and I both lived on Grand Island in our teens and went to the same high school, Tonawanda High, because there was no high school on the Island. I would see him everyday at the bus stop for school which was right by his house. The last time I saw Rich was at a Sidway School reunion on Grand Island.

Rich was one of the nicest people that I knew. He was always smiling and I remember his laugh like it was yesterday. He was a kind and loving soul. We both loved to dance and would dance together at some of our many "hops" that the school had.

I am not surprised that he went on to be a teacher. He had the right personality for it.

Sending sympathy to his family. I am sure he will be very much missed.
