Condolence: I did not have the pleasure of personally knowing Nick. I do have the pleasure and privilege of knowing his mother, Andrea. Through her words, and sometimes tears, I feel like I knew him: intelligent, handsome, brave, compassionate, generous, clever. He was a good friend, and a beloved family member. No matter what he had going on or how crappy he felt you never once caught him without that infectious smile on his face, always cracking a joke or messing with Don about the Red Sox. I unfortunately only got the pleasure of knowing him for a few years, but he didn’t treat us that way he always cared about our lives and what was going on in it as if we have been life Long friends.
