Condolence: With great sadness I share my thoughts and memories of Barbara. We developed a friendship after her husband died. She did not drive so I offered to go shopping with her. We looked forward to choosing a different place to eat before shopping.
In 2016 Barbara wished to visit her family and friends in Singapore. She invited me to travel with her and paid my way. This trip was forever a wonderful time ...seeing the beautiful country, meeting the many friends, eating the delicious food....laughing, talking, walking.
Barbara, thank you my friend! Rest in peace!

Condolence: Barbara, we never thought that Sunday morning 4 Mar 9.30am ( 8.30pm Mar 3 Buffalo time) will be the last conversation we all had with you. I even took a screen shot of you.
It was too sudden for all of us.You never treated me as a maid but as a friend. You were down to earth.I had lots of fun with you while you were staying at Aunty Jai and Uncle Norm apartment.
You even invited me to come along with you to Myanmar and Malaysia I remember
you like to eat rice and vegetables. And I am also thankful for the help you rendered to my family in Semarang , Indonesia.
I will miss you sweet Barbara and now I only have warm memories of you.
May you Rest In Peace Barbara Jones Khan.

I will always remember you.

Condolence: I have the pleasure of knowing and seeing Barbara in person in 2011
when she flew in to Singapore with Jaiton and Norman after Alan’s death.
The following year, together with Norman and Jaiton, Karim and Mariah
and my husband we went to Sarawak, East Malaysia. We all had a nice time together.
Barbara flew in to Singapore again in March of 2016 with Rebecca, her friend from Florida for a month and she returned again In Oct and stayed for 6months. She and I shared many stories of her younger days in Tonawanda while we were all vacationing in Batam Island, Indonesia. She enjoyed my cooking and looked forward to returning again this Oct but it was not meant to be.
Barbara, you are now in a better place with your husband, Alan.
Rest In Peace

Condolence: Over many years we have been friends with Norm and Jaiton Buchbinder along with Barbara and Alan Jones. After Al had passed away, when visiting FL during the winter months, we would get together with Norm, Jai and Babs for breakfast at a local restaurant. It was always a fun time and Babs added to the humor with her many stories. Barbara will be missed by all. We will keep Babs and Al in our prayers.
