Noemi would like to let you know that her work here is completed. She has received the call, a sort of offer she couldn't refuse. This loving mother and grandmother was put on this earth with a purpose to help others and we can proudly say she has accomplished that mission. Noemi was a caring and loving person but also a stern individual, don't let her height fool you. From her early years of owning the typical mom and pop businesses in Brooklyn (record shop, variety store and restaurant), to her recent work as an health aid and team assistant at Hispanos Unidos de Buffalo Community Center during the past five years, she touched the lives of many people during her lifetime.

She was an amazing cook and loved to share food with family, friends and neighbors. She made the best pasteles you can ever taste, but never really shared her true recipe. She will be missed immensely.

Noemi Padilla is survived by her sons, Jaime "Jimmy" Padilla and Efrain "E" (Christina Smardz) Padilla Jr., daughter in-law Diana Soto, her grandchildren Anisa, Ariana, Analyse, Jaime "JC" and Amari Sky and her brother Edwin Ruiz.

May she rest in peace in the glorious hands of the Lord.

Noemí era una persona bondadosa y amorosa, sino también una persona popa, no deje que su estatura le engañe. Desde sus primeros años de ser dueño de las empresas típicas de mamá y papá en Brooklyn (registro de la tienda de, variedad y restaurante), a su reciente trabajo como una ayuda para la salud y el ayudante equipo de Hispanos Unidos de Búfalo Centro de la Comunidad durante los últimos cinco años, tocó la vida de muchas personas durante su vida.

Ella era una cocinera increíble y le gustaba compartir la comida con la familia, amigos y vecinos. Ella hizo los mejores pasteles que nunca se puede probar, pero en realidad nunca compartió su verdadera receta. La vamos a extrañar enormemente.
