PODKOWA - Felix J. Of Tonawanda TWP, NY. August 17, 2018 at age 88. Beloved husband of Adele (nee Utnik); loving father of Michele (Santino) Evancho, Cathleen (Michael) Martinez, and Cynthia (Frederick) Conway; devoted grandfather of Jamie (Jason) Holler, Sarah Evancho, Michael (Michelle) Evancho, Steven (Kara) Evancho, Emily Conway, and Catherine (Taylor) Gesel; proud great-grandfather of Sophia and Colton Holler, and Colin Evancho; dear brother of the late Josephine Parker, Victoria Platek, Pete and Ziggy Podkowa; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the KOLANO FUNERAL HOME, 396 Amherst St. (near Grant), Sunday 2-6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Assumption Church, 435 Amherst St., Monday at 9:30 am. Please assemble at Church. Interment with Military Honors at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Felix was a retiree of General Motors, a Korean War Veteran, a member of Niagara Frontier Post #1041 and St. Andrew’s Holy Name Society.
