The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ronald Grabowski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My first friend in Buffalo

My family moved to Buffalo in 1962 when my father hired on at Chevy Tonawanda. Ron's dad and my dad soon became friends on the job. Ron's dad helped us with our transistion and we rented an apartment at 814 Amherst  St. across from the Grabowski family home. Grubs took me under his wing and introduced me to his friends at Riverside H.S.. Somehow we drifted apart due our family that  kept relocating apartments. I will always remember Ronnie and still appreciate  what he did for me even to this day. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing and regret that we lost touch with one another.I'm also regretful that I was unable to attend his Celebration of Life at the River Grill which is one of my favorite places to go to. I may have had a beer next to him and never knew it was him. My condolences to the family. God Bless you Grubs. Sincerely, Dave Harrington
