DEMBSKI - Rita P. (nee Kornik) Of Amherst, NY, July 23, 2017 at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Dembski; dear mother of Cathy Dembski, Carolyn (Robert) Meierjurgen and Henry (Jamie) Dembski; loving grandmother of Nicolas and Stephanie Dee; dear sister of the late Frances (Bronislaus) Laska, Mary (John) Palasik, Charlotte Cymerman, Joseph (Bernice), Stanley and Henry Kornik; also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation at the KOLANO FUNERAL HOME, 396 Amherst St. (near Grant) Wednesday 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Leo the Great RC Church, 885 Sweet Home Rd., Amherst, NY Thursday at 8:45 AM. Please assemble at church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rita was a member and past President of the Altar Rosary Society and CCD volunteer at St. Leo’s parish. She was also past President and regional President of the Buffalo Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and B.D.C.C.W. Chairwoman of Family Affairs.
