The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Barbara Jones can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I have the pleasure of knowing and seeing Barbara in person in 2011 when she flew in to Singapore with Jaiton and Norman after Alan’s death. The following year, together with Norman and Jaiton, Karim and Mariah and my husband we went to Sarawak, East Malaysia. We all had a nice time together. Barbara flew in to Singapore again in March of 2016 with Rebecca, her friend from Florida for a month and she returned again In Oct and stayed for 6months. She and I shared many stories of her younger days in Tonawanda while we were all vacationing in Batam Island, Indonesia. She enjoyed my cooking and looked forward to returning again this Oct but it was not meant to be. Barbara, you are now in a better place with your husband, Alan. Rest In Peace
